I have shot aerials from Detroit to San Antonio, from both helicopters and light planes. But I prefer to use a plane; it's one-fourth the cost of a helicopter and doesn't viberate, resulting in sharper images.

Do be aware that what you are seeing on screen is a low resolution image for the web. There is a wealth of detail in the original images that just can't translate to the web.

I also use Photoshop to overlay information on aerial photos, such as street names and property lines for legal or commercial purposes.
