Three days later,all tubes out, not feeling too bad, all things considered.
Yes, I need a shave and my hair washed. The sternum scar has ruined my modeling career.
In a few days the shaved chest hair starts growing back and itching something fierce.
I never had any pain from the surgery in the heart itself. And the sawed sternum only hurts on two occasions; when I move and when I breath. The leg incision is sometimes bothersome, but not too bad.
The loritabs pretty well took care of everything.
I went in the hospital on tuesday, went home on sunday.
The way I see it, I got off lightly. No heart attack, no heart damage, no big restrictions into the future.
And best of all; no bed with a lid: any day above ground is a good day.
